‘Hide’ is a two-fold metaphor. On one hand being thankful for other people having experienced a similar emotion and you thus being able to relate to them. This could be through poetry, a song, movie, etc. The other angle is being passive and agreeing to follow the other person despite what you feel like.
‘Slowly’ is a piece about seeking that emotional connection and longing for that other person’s presence.
‘Landing’ is a self-reflective piece about getting to know oneself and reflect on what it is you are searching for.
‘On/off’ is about realizing that some things are worth fighting for and deciding that you want to fight for them. Things that are worth it do not come easy.
‘Race’ is a about how relationships begin and how you’re trying to figure each other out and see who and what’s going to win: your needs or each other’s compromises.
‘Agree’ is a piece about compromises within a relationship and how these need to be created and recreated continuosly in order to function.
‘Wall’ is about being in a self-destructive mood where everything feels pointless. You know nothing good can come out of punching a wall, but at the same time you’re so down that you don’t see what bad it could cause to get your emotions out.
‘Mindtricks’ is a piece about depression and psychological illness. A societal view is often rooted in a solution-based idea that everything needs to be fixed as fast as possible and as easily as possible. The problem is psychological issues are hard to deal with and they take time.
‘Midterm’ is a more abstract piece about relationships and considering whether the specific relationship is worth it or not.
