‘Fake’ is the first of a four-part series.
The poem ‘What’ is about being confused and unsure of what you seek. How an on-paper perfect relationship doesn’t work, but a toxic one does.
‘Time II’ is the second piece of a two-part series about time. While the first piece focused on processing past feelings and letting them go, this piece is focused on the future.
‘Glow’ is about gaining an overview over the intricate details of a relationship. It’s about figuring out how and why things click and why they don’t.
‘Remiss’ is about being anxious of not having a comfort-zone. About constantly being in situations you are not comfortable with, which leads to self-reflection and hopefully closure in the end.
The piece, ‘Time’, is about giving yourself time to process things and then letting them go. That feeling of finally being okay is something we all strive for after a breakup.
‘Beach’ is a poem entailing the post-breakup phase, where each person tries to win the breakup by acting tough and happy all the time.
The poem ‘Loss of trust’ is a story about having friends that have a different world-view than regular people, which you typically put up with. In short, they be crazy, okay? The piece is about them finally drawing the final straw and doing something unforgivable and you letting go of them.
‘Fade’ is about being in a relationship for so long that after a while you stop noticing the little things going wrong and when you do you’re too worn out to fix them. Inevitably the relationship fades away.
